Will bombs work to rid rats & roaches from a very large metal building

Building is approx 50'X50'X20". We are temporarily storing furniture and the lawn mower there. Does the mower need to be moved out for a certain length of time?

Answer:

Bomb/Foggers will not get rid of rats at all, and will only half control the roaches that are in the building. To properly control and get rid of all the roaches you would need a spray to use inside and outside the building to provide residual control. We would recommend mixing Demon WP and Gentrol IGR together in water and spraying at least 3 feet up on the side of the building and 3 feet out on the ground, and all along the baseboard type areas inside the unit. Any roach that crosses the surface you treated will carry the Demon insecticide on to other roaches in the colony, and will be sterilized by the Gentrol to make sure they do not keep reproducing. For rats/mice you would need to either use snap traps or use bait station outside around the building with a bait that would kill them after consuming it. We recommend the Protecta LP Rat Bait Station and the Fastrac blox. Please let us know if you have any questions.
