Certainty Herbicide is labeled for suppression of virginia button weed. Per the product label: For suppression of buttonweed apply this product at the rate of 1.25 ounces per acre. This application will provide suppression or control of buttonweed for 4-6 weeks. To ensure control, tank mix with a broadleaf herbicide labeled for control of virginia buttonweed.  Another product we carry that will control virginia buttonweed is Fertilome Weed Free Zone. Apply the weed free zone at the rate of 1.5 oz - 2 oz. per gallon of water per 1,000 sq. ft
