Will Criterion 75 WSP Systemic Insecticide help control tent caterpillars in my large American Elm trees?

Will this product help control tent caterpillars in my large American Elm trees?

Answer:

Criterion 75 WSP is great for preventing tent caterpillars in the spring when they are not as active.  You should use Criterion as a soil drench around the root system of the tree.  For issues you have right now, you should use Talstar from a powered sprayer directed at the tree limbs and the webbing from the tent caterpillars.
