Harlan from Phoenix, Az writes

Will Cy-kick leech down and diminish the effect of Termidor in my trench treatment for termite protection?

I have trenched out and applied Termidor. However, I would like to also have a perimeter protection above ground for various crawlies that seem to occasionally find their way in. If I spray up and out the recommended 1-foot (gravel landscaping) will the Cy-Kick seep down (maybe after a rain) an in to my soil, thus negating the non-repellent affect of my termidor? If this is my goal, would Cy-kick be any better or worse than Talstar? - Phoenix heat.

Answer:

As long as you have given at least 24-48 hours of dry time for the Termidor after it has been applied to the soil, watering/rain and other general pest control applications around the foundation will not affect the termidor barrier under the soil. Cy-Kick would be the better option over Talstar in your region and will give a little better coverage.
