Will Diatomaceous earth work for Bed Bugs?

worried about bedbugs coming to my house from college apt w/ my child - she found them then came home and then her apt was treated- could buy the diamataceous earth with the calcium bentonite at the local tractor store - so we started that as a first step and are waiting for my order from you to treat the house

Answer:

Yes, Diatomaceous Earth will kill Bed bugs that come in contact with the treated area. Mainly, you want to focus on cracks, crevices and wall voids. You want to go ahead and start thoroughly cleaning and laundering anything that you can. Also, please read our article How to Get Rid of Bed Bugs.
