Gentrol IGR is not labeled to be applied to flowers or plants, so it would not be recommended to do so. It is really only a crack and crevice treatment as directed on the product label. We are not aware of the effects it would have on plants, but you can contact the manufacturer directly for further information. Zoecon can be reached at 800-877-6374. Gentrol also would not be photostable outdoors, although we do carry other IGRs that are labeled for use outdoors.
