Ron from Trenton, Nj writes

Will Sevin Concentrate stain my sidewalk?

I applied Sevin Concentrate to my bushes and a couple days later my sidewalk was stained an orange color.

Answer:

Sevin Concentrate is white or beige in color and when mixed according to label instructions should form a clear solution that will also be clear when it dries, so there is really no way that it could have caused an orange stain.  Were there any other products that may have been applied in the area around the same time that the Sevin was applied?  There are many herbicide (weed killer) products that do have an orange color and can cause staining on concrete if not applied carefully.  If you do feel that it was the Sevin which caused the staining, you may want to contact the manufacturer directly.  You can reach GardenTech at 866-945-5033.
