Will Surge kill yellow pine seedlings?

Hello I have volunteer yellow pine tree seedlings in my rock flower beds connected to my cool season grass will surge kill them? I would like to eradicate them.

Answer:

Surge is a post emergent and will not treat for Yellow Pine seedlings. You can apply a product called TVC over the rock bed to control the seedlings. We would also like for you to contact your Cooperative Extension Office and speak with the Master Gardener for what may work the best for Pine Seedling control in your area.
