Talstar P is not actually labeled to treat bird mites and it is only labeled to apply in cracks and crevices indoors so is not recommended to be used for them. When treating for bird mites usually you would want to spray all carpeted areas and lightly spray the flooring and to do that you would need a product like Onslaught which will give you a wider usage range indoors.
