John from Phoenix writes

Will Termidor work on roaches?

If I spray the perimeter of house with Termidor will the roaches that come in contact with the chemical bring it back and transfer to others like it work for ants?

Answer:

The Termidor SC will absolutely have the same transfer on roaches as it will ants and termites. Any roach that crosses the barrier you create around the perimeter of the home will pass the product to any other roach or insect it comes into contact with. If you find that even with the transfer effect of the Termidor you are still having a problem with roaches, try adding an IGR like NyGuard to the mix. NyGuard is birth control for the roaches and other insects to keep them from reproducing faster than you can kill them. You can use NyGuard IGR with any insecticide to spray at the same time, or by itself indoors or outdoors. *It's important to note that Termidor SC is not labeled for indoor use so while you can use it to treat the outside of your home, to prevent roaches from coming in, it should not be used indoors for roaches. The only time Termidor can be used indoors is for spot treating termites.
