Mel from Wichita Falls, Tx writes

Will the Adonis 2F kill grubs and when should it be applied and how much per gallon?

Answer:

You will need to use 0.46 to 0.6 fl. oz. (14 to 17 mL) of Adonis per 1000 sq. ft. You should use the higher concentration for faster knockdown and a longer lasting residual. For optimum control, make applications preceding or during the egg laying period of the target pest. The active ingredient in this product has enough residual activity so that applications can be made preceding the egg laying activity. Application timing can be based on historical monitoring of the site, previous records or experiences, current season adult trapping or other methods. Most favorable control will be achieved when applications are made prior to egg hatch of the target pests, followed by sufficient irrigation or rainfall to move the active ingredient through the thatch.  We recommend contacting your local cooperative extension office to ask about insecticide timing for grubs in your region as it will vary and they are the best resource for your area.
