If the wire mesh is 1/2" x 1" will the mice be able to squeeze through to get back inside once they have left? They can squeeze through a half-inch hole, right?
The Tomahawk Excluder One Way Door Chipmunk & similar sized animals would not work for mice as they can get through holes 1/4 inch or larger.
