I would like to spray Bifen it in front yard for fleas. I have five chickens I can't contain in the back yard.

They do eat the grass. Will this harm them?

Answer:

Bifen IT is labeled to be used in poultry houses and chicken pens so it should not harm your chickens even if they eat the grass.  The small amount of active ingredient is only enough to kill a small insect.  You must make sure your chickens are out of the area while you apply Bifen and then they can return to the area as soon as it is dry
