Would spraying a mixture of Gentrol & DemonWP get rid of indoor fruit flies?

How much of each is the recommended quantity for 1 gallon of water?

Answer:

Demon WP is not specifically labeled for fruit flies. The insect has to come in contact with the product and because of where fruit flies reside, this would not be a good product for what you wanting to do. It is also not labeled to be used around any type of edibles. It comes in pre-measured packets though so you do not have to measure out any specifically. One packet will be used in a gallon of water. Gentrol IGR also comes in a pre-measured 1 oz. bottle. You will use that in a gallon of water. Gentrol IGR is labeled to be used for fruit flies. You will mix it in a gallon of water and spray around the baseboards and cracks and crevices. Demon WP and Gentrol can be mixed together for future reference. For fruit flies, we normally recommend the Vector 960 Fruit Fly Trap. You will use 2-3 in an average sized room.
