    Q
Can Acephate Pro 75 SP Insecticide be made into a paste?
Our local Ag Center recommended making a paste out of Acephate and painting around the trunks of the crepe myrtle trees twice a year to prevent aphids. The aphids leave a secretion behind which in turn creates black soot mold on the leaves of crepe myrtles.

Please see the product label for complete application instructions.  You will treat first with a systemic product like Dominion 2L before pests are active and then follow up with a suffocant product such as Bonide Neem Oil Concentrate if they are currently active.
