I am trying to ID an insect that is destroying my grass. It makes small mounds of dirt on the surface.

There are hundreds of these mounds of loose dirt about an inch in diameter. These are mostly along a stone retaining wall but some are elsewhere in the yard. We had these several years ago and you recommended something we had already purchased from you for mosquito control. This is a much larger infestation however. If I remember correctly, it looks like a cricket.
