    Is Amdro Yard Treatment Fire Ant Bait Granules dangerous to other insects?
    Would this product be dangerous to many insects other than ants? I want the ants gone but I like the lightning bugs, spiders, and butterflies. Also how dangerous is it to pets that eat grass?

    Amdro Yard Treatment Fire Ant Bait Granules is designed only to attrack ants. With that said, if other insects were to contact the active ingredient, it could pose a threat. This product is safe for pets to be around as it is labeled for animal holding grounds.

    If I spread Android Yard Fire Ant Bait Granules in a pasture, how long before my horse can graze there?
    I have a lot of fire ants and have 10 acres of pasture separated into 4 sections. If I want to treat all of them how long before my horse can graze in the treated pasture.

    Amdro Yard Treatment Fire Ant Bait Granules is not labeled for use in areas animals graze so would not be recommended.  Extinguish Plus Fire Ant Bait would be a better option and has no grazing restrictions with companion animals, ie horses.

    Lightning bugs live on the ground. Can I use Amdro Yard Treatment Fire Ant Bait Granules?

    Amdro Yard Treatment Fire Ant Bait Granules is only labeled for Imported and native fire ants and other ants (except Carpenter and Pharoah ants).  Demand CS is an alternative option to use for general insects, you would want to spray on bushes/trees etc where the bugs would land.
