Ants are dying in piles at stations within 8 hrs. Is that too fast?

I'm wondering if the whole colony is being affected if they're dying at the stations.

Answer:

This is a good thing. There all the ants that eat the bait are not dying immediately. There should be plenty that take the bait back to the colony in order to eliminate it. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
