Baby items and books

My baby's clothes, crib, changing table, books, high chairs, toys, and jewelry have been in a room treated with Nuvan Strips. Is it safe to use them or should I get rid of them? Also, how do I use books and papers after treatment?

Answer:

All of the items should be fine to use as the Nuvan Strips are designed to not harm or leave an odor in treated items, only to build up a vapor to kill the insects. Clothes and stuffed animals may want to be thrown in the washer or dryer just in case to make sure there are no lingering vapors or bugs on the items the baby would come into close contact with. Also, the Nuvan strips are not to be used in rooms, only confined no airflow areas such as storage containers and trash bags that the items are placed in. If you have any other questions on how the Nuvan may affect other items, please contact Amvac at 1-888-462-6822.
