    Q
Does the B&G Versafoamer 4000 come with any attachment for drains such as a plunger or cone that fits over drains?
Does this equipment come with any attachment for drains such as a plunger or cone that fits over drains which will allow all expanding foam to be pushed down instead of rising up and coming out of drain.
    A
We contacted B&G, the manufacturer of the Versafoamer 4000 and they told us the foam will work its way down through the drain pretty well on its own. There is an optional 12 inch drain tip that can be purchased to attach to the device. It has a brass end with a nylon tube attached which allows it to bend with the drain. This will help get the product to the bottom of the drain where it needs to go faster, but is not necessary to make the foam get down in the drain. The parts in question don’t come with the device. The part number to order this would be # 16200023 and will be a special order part that you would need to call us to order.

    Q
Would the B&G Versafoamer 4000 be effective in spot treatments
I need to treat walls in a apartment complex that is roach infested. Will this do the job?
    A
The B&G Versafoamer 4000 can be used to make a foam that can be used inside the wall voids. This is more used for termite type treatments but can be used for a roach infestation. We would recommend using our Commercial Roach Control Kit. It comes with multiple items used to combat a roach infestation. These products are not instant because an infestation is not going to be simple to get rid of. You will use the bait gel in places where you cannot spray. The insecticide will be used around the baseboards and cracks and crevices indoors. You will mix the IGR (insect growth regulator) with the insecticide to stop the roaches from reproducing. Also, for long term control, we would recommend using Alpine dust. This will dry the roaches out and stop them from spreading. All of these products together will work together to make sure the roaches are eliminated.
