Can you use Blade product on Floratam Turf?
I am in Winter Garden (Orlando) FL and I have had a bad breakout of Dollar weed already (FEB 10). I was looking at the SpeedZone but in the Q & A it states not to use on Flroatam. Can this be used?

Blade is not labeled for use on Floratam grass. However, Celsius herbicide is labeled for both Floratam grass, and dollarweed. Floratam is a very sensitive grass, so you should only use an herbicide if your grass is not stressed and is in good health. Dollarweed typically takes two applications to gain control.
What is the mix ratio of Blade Herbicide for residential yards?
I have read the directions of .125 dry ounce per acre but when dealing with a 1 gal hand pump sprayer and spot treating a 1/4 acre residential property what is the ratio per gal?

Blade Herbicide is really meant to be used on larger spaces and calculating usage rates for smaller spaces can be a bit of a challenge for homeowners. You will need to use 0.03125 oz of Blade for your 1/4 acre property. We recommend that you mix that in at least 5-10 gallons of water (+ 1 teaspoon of surfactant per gallon of water). Most people use a bucket and then transfer the mixture to their sprayer 1 gallon at a time. You need to make sure you are evenly distributing the spray over the area that needs to be treated.
What apparatus do you use to apply Blade to the grass?
I have several properties, two being 1.4 acres. How do I apply this to the grass? Can I put it in a 2 or 3 gallon sprayer?
I just canceled a yard service because I'm still having weed issues and the guys are not diligent workers. I would rather do it myself. What should I use for post emergent weeds on Centipede and St. Augustine grasses?

Blade Herbicide is mixed with water and can be applied from any size sprayer. Most people use at least a 2 gallon hand pump sprayer if they do not have access to a larger power sprayer, but theoretically any size sprayer will work. Speedzone Southern is a post emergent herbicide that is labeled to control a wide variety of broadleaf weeds on Centipede and St. Augustine grasses.
Is Blade Herbicide harmful to yard trees and shrubs when used near and around them?

The product label for Blade Selective Herbicide states that you should not plant shrubs or trees in the treatment area of Blade for at least 1 year. The label does not give any instructions on how far away you should treat from trees and shrubs and we are not sure of the answer. Will Blade Selective Herbicide damage Savannah grass?
