    Will this product harm in or kill honey bee hives ? Is this product honey bee safe ?

    Bonide Eight Insect Control Vegetable, Fruit and Flower is not really selective so it could potentially harm bees or other pollinators if care is not taken during application.  It should not be applied while the pollinators are present, and should be applied in the early morning or late evening when pollinators are least active.

    Bonide Eight Insect Control is labeled for controlling squash bugs and should work well when used as directed on the product label. Use 2 fl. oz of product in 1 gal of water and apply as needed to ensure uniform coverage. Do not exceed 8 applications per season. This can be applied up to the day of harvest.

    No, Bonide Eight Insect Control Vegetable, Fruit and Flower cannot be applied to apple trees while the fruit is growing.  The product label states to repeat as required to maintain control, do not make more than 3 applications per year and do not apply after petal fall.

    I have peaches already formed on my tree. 3 dropped this morning and I suspect plum curculio. Also, it it too late this season to spray??

    What is the best product to kill strawberry root weevil?

    You should hand remove any adults by searching the plants at night with a flashlight, Drop the active adults into  a bucket of soapy water. For the juveniles you can help control them with a fast acting product such as Bonide Eight in One concentrate spray. 
    Use 1 ½ fl. oz. in 1 gal. Allow 14 days between last application and harvest. Make no more than 8 foliar applications per growing season
