    Q
Which is the best herbicide for total vegetation.
I've been battling our pea gravel landscape for years and was never able to find a herbicide that will take care all the vegetation and no regrowth. What can you suggest for pre-emergent herbicide with little or no regrowth.
    A
The only type of product that will stop plants from being able to grow for a year in your pea gravel would be a soil sterilant. Bonide Total Vegetation Killer is a non-selective herbicide/mild soil sterilant and it will kill almost all plants down to the roots and it prevents new plant growth for up to one year. It is very important to read the Bonide Total Vegetation Killer product label and follow it exactly to obtain good results. We do carry another soil sterilant, Saraha DG, but it lasts for up to 10 years which means no plants will be able to be grown in that area and it can move through the soil killing any plants in the nearby areas. We recommend that only experienced homeowners or professionals use Sahara.

    Q
CanI use Bonide Total Vegetation Killer on a small lakefront without harming fish or wildlife?
    A
Bonide Total Vegetation Killer is not labeled for use around bodies of water so we cannot recommend it for this use. You may want to consider using a product that is specifically labeled for use as an aqautic herbicide for safest results.
