Can Mark-it Blue be used on my fruit trees?

I'm looking for a marking additive to use when spraying my fruit trees. Is this safe to use?

This product is a food-grade colorant, so it would be safe to use on ornamentals or on edibles. While there is no particular pre-harvest interval, you may want to wash off any excess colorant before consuming the fruit from your trees.
