Can Monterey Garden Phos Systemic Fungicide be used to treat St. Augustine grass ?

Will this product work to treat lawn fungus like brown patch or take all patch ?

Answer:

Monterey Garden Phos Systemic Fungicide is only labeled to control Pythium in turfgrass so would not be recommended for brown patch or take all. We would recommend our Eagle 20 EW Fungicide. It is labeled for Take-All Patch in your turf, and you would use 2.4 ounces per 1000 sq/ft in no less than 2 gallons of water. Label states for treatment of Take-All Patch: To reduce the severity, make 1 to 2 fall applications in September and October or when night temperatures drop to 55°F, and 1 to 2 spring applications in April and May depending upon local recommendations.
