You could use the Hi-Yield Indoor/Outdoor 10% Permethrin Insecticide for ants around the perimeter of the structure and/or to treat individual ant mounds. Per the product label for Hi-Yield Indoor/Outdoor 10% Permethrin Insecticide: Use at a rate of 6 2/3 fl. oz. per 1 gallon of water to treat 1,600 linear feet with a 6-inch spray band. For a large area for ants, we would recommend Talstar P, which you would apply at a rate of 1 oz. per gallon of water or per 1,000 square feet in the yard. We also would recommend treating individual ant mounds as directed on the product label of whichever product you are using.
