I have 60 beds that I want to monitor. Can these monitors be attached to the bed frame? Or can they only be used on the carpet?
SenSci Volcano Bed Bug Detectors can be used alone, but are much more effective when used with SenSciActiv, a lure developed by Rutgers University. They are not for use on a bed or bed frame, only on flat surfaces. Place monitors in areas of suspected travel such as corners of the room or along baseboards near sleeping areas. Monitors should also be placed next to bed or other furniture legs to increase your odds of detecting bed bugs.
