Can I use Bayer Advanced 12 Month Tree and Shrub Protect and Feed II when a tree is currently dripping from aphids?

Have a very large tree (trunk circumference 9'-2") infested w/aphids and currently dropping sticky dew everywhere. I have 3 new bottles of this product. Can I apply it now or is it best to wait? I'm in Northern California.

Yes, Bayer Advanced 12 Month Tree and Shrub Protect and Feed II can be used on a tree that contains active aphids. The rate for trees is 1 fl oz per inch of distance around the trunk. This product can be used as long as the ground in your area is not frozen. This treatment will last for up to one year.
