Lacey from Nevada writes

Can I use Martins Permethrin 10% to treat chickens for mites or lice?

What would the dilution ratio be to use this on backyard chickens, if safe.

Answer:

Yes, Martins Permethrin 10% can be used on chickens. It should be applied the rate of either 8 oz. in 1.5 gallons of water, 16 oz. in 20 gallons of water, or 32 oz. in 50 gallons of water.  You will apply 1/2 oz. per bird or 1 gallon per 100 birds with a fine mist. Also spray roosts, walls, and nests/cages.
