Vickie from Raleigh, Nc writes

Can you use Eraser to kill vines in a wooded area without damaging mature trees?

We have hired someone to mow the wisteria, poison ivy, and sumac vines on a new property we purchased. As they regrow fromtheir roots, can we spray Eraser and kill them back without damaging the trees we have left. We only left trees larger than 5-6 inches in diameter.

Answer:

Eraser 41% will kill pretty much anything you apply it to. It will not harm your trees if you apply it on a non-windy day. This will prevent drift onto the desired trees.
