Can you use Merit liquid Systemic Insecticide on potted plants? I have a terrible scale and mealy bug infestation. If so, what is a good ratio. If not, what is a good liquid systemic for houseplants or potted trees?
Merit 2F Insecticide is labeled to be used in greenhouses but is not labeled to be used in potted plants.
You could use Bonide Systemic Insect Control. You will use 3 teaspoons per gallon of water and spray the entire plant covering both sides of the foliage thoroughly. Since you are treating potted plants, we would recommend taking the plants outside if at all possible to treat and then bringing them in once you have completed the project.
