    Can Ferti-Lome Weed and Feed with Dimension 20-0-4 be used in vegetable gardens?

    The Ferti-Lome Weed and Feed with Dimension 20-0-4 is not safe to be used in vegetable gardens and is not labeled for that use. If you are looking to prevent weed growth in an area where edibles are planted, you would want to use Monterey Vegetable and Ornamental Weeder.

    When should it be applied in north Florida?

    The Ferti-Lome Weed and Feed with Dimension 20-0-4 is labeled to be applied to Bahiagrass, please refer to the product label for complete instructions.  Please contact your local cooperative extension office to determine the correct timing of the application as this will vary greatly from region to region

    If I buy Ferti-Lome Crabgrass Preventer Plus Lawn Food with Dimension, do I still need Ferti-Lome Broadleaf Weed Control with Gallery?
    Can the two be used together? I need something with Dimension for crabgrass and something with Gallery for dandelions.

    If you buy Ferti-Lome Crabgrass Preventer Plus Lawn Food with Dimension we wouldn't recommend using Ferti-Lome Broadleaf Weed Control with Gallery at the same time. They're both pre-emergents and will do pretty much the same thing. If you want to be able to apply both active ingredients from Dimension and Gallery, we would recommend using the liquid versions and following the label instructions for a tank mix test.

    Can Ferti-Lome Weed and Feed with Dimension 20-0-4 be applied to a newly seeded lawn? Lawn was seeded 4 weeks ago.

    Ferti-Lome Weed and Feed with Dimension 20-0-4 should only be applied to well established cool and warm season lawns. It should NOT be applied to your lawn if it was newly seeded. Please contact us at 866-581-7378 M-F 9-5PM EST for a recommendation.

    When can I use this product on Zoysia?

    Ferti-Lome Crabgrass Preventer Plus Lawn Food with Dimension 20-0-3 could be used on Zoysia but it all depends on what nutrients your lawn needs to determine if this is the best product.  Please contact your local cooperative extension office to determine the correct timing of the application as this will vary greatly from region to region.

    What is the optimum ground temperature (at 4") for application of Crabgrass Preventer plus Lawn Food?
    My supplier said 50F and I will be obliged for your confirmation or other instructions.

    ? Crabgrass preventer such as Resolute 65 WG (Generic Barricade) should be applied when soil temperatures reach 50 to 55 degrees Fahrenheit.

    No, Ferti-Lome Weed and Feed with Dimension 20-0-4 is not specifically labeled for dandelions.

    Ferti-Lome Broadleaf Weed Control with Gallery is labeled for pre emergent control of dandelions, chickweed, henbit, spurge, woodsorrel and other broadleaf weeds.

    Ferti-Lome Crabgrass Preventer Plus Lawn Food with Dimension 20-0-3 is not labeled for Japanese Stiltgrass.

    Dimension 2EW is the only Dithopyr pre emergent labeled for Japanese Stiltgrass.

    Ferti-Lome Crabgrass Preventer Plus Lawn Food with Dimension 20-0-3 is labeled for fall and spring applications and lasts for about 4 months. If you used it more than those periods of time, you would be applying more than the allotted amount for 1000 sq ft.
