Ferti-Lome Fruit, Citrus and Pecan Tree Food contains a special combination of plant nutrients beneficial to tree growth and productivity, plus a generous supply of Zinc to control Rosette in Pecan Trees. It may be used on all kinds of Nut and Fruit Trees.

Use

Pecans, Hickory Nuts, Black Walnuts, Hazalenuts, Chestnuts, etc.:

Feed your Nut Trees twice a year, (in early Spring before new growth appears and after harvest) using the quantities listed below at each feeding.

Apples, Pears, Peaches, Plums, Cherries, Oranges, Grapefruit, Lemons, etc.:

Feed your Fruit Trees twice a year, (in early Spring before blooms or new growth appears, and after fruit is ripe or picked) using the quantities below at each feeding.

How much Ferti-Lome Fruit, Citrus and Pecan Tree Food 19-10-5 for a pecan tree that is 8 inches in trunk diameter?

Apply 2 1/2 to 3 lbs. Ferti-Lome Fruit, Citrus and Pecan Tree Food 19-10-5 per inch of trunk diameter annually in the early Spring before new growth appears and after Harvest. Apply around drip line. So you would apply 20-24 lbs per year for that size pecan tree (10-12 lbs in Spring and 10-12 lbs after Harvest) per product label instructions.

Directions on bag are just for a tree planted in the ground. I have a dwarf Meyer lemon tree and need to know the quantity of food to add to the pot.

According to the manufacturer, Ferti-Lome Fruit, Citrus and Pecan Tree Food 19-10-5 should not be used in containized plants.  CitrusGain 8-3-9 Fertilizer Blend would be a great choice for your specific needs.

They are very small and was planted 1 yr ago.
