I get a spring fungus every year in my Emerald Green Zoysia. Huge Rings die off 10'. What would be effective

As soon as my zoysia starts to green up, I get huge fungus rings. Takes a while for my lawn to recover. I live in GA. I am get it stopped with the home depot stuff, but usually too late. What can I use to stop this. I do not have a large yard and would prefer to not spend too much.

Answer:

We are not exactly sure what type of fungus you are treating for but we do carry a product like Eagle 20EW which is labeled for this fungus, but it will not help without dethatching regularly. When treating Necrotic Ring Spot grass fungus, you should first dethatch the lawn vigorously.  The thatch is how the fungus spreads.
