After identifying an ant problem; identify the source. Then surround the exit/entrance to the nest with a line of the bait gel. The ants don't have to go far for the gel and thus take lots back to the nest(s). In 1-2 weeks no more ants.

This gel really works. However it can't stop the ants from coming into your house. All vegetation has to be removed from the outside walls of your home. Try to determine where the ants are getting in. This gel is not messy, and place it away from pets and children.

Just a little one inch squirt of this stuff and ants are gone permanently. They love this stuff (or, at least they think they do). At first they are running all over each other to belly up to the bar. Come back the next day and you'll notice they are still coming, but moving just a little slower. The third day, you'll notice a few hardcore stragglers, but after that you won't see another one. Never seen an ant removal product work as good as this. Blows away anything you can find at Lowe's or HD. I've used this for years.

That stuff was terrible didn't do a thing dries out too quickly then they walk on it total waste of money ended up throwing it away. You should refund my money.

The primary reason why someone buys an Ant Bait Gel is to kill Ants. It is either Yah or Ney... Hence my one star.

The Ghost Ants went around it so I tried it on a few other ants with the same results. I would have returned it but since it is open I cant.

Ants found it and just moved past it repeatedly to other sugar sources. I was initially pleased that they located it near there current trails but then they never returned to it.

Unfortunately, The Odorous House ants that I've got won't touch this stuff with a 10 ft pole, the product claims less repellent, however the ants have budded out and are taking over my kitchen, looks like I'll have to try a different product.

I have used this product for almost 2 years. Unlike others products I have used, this one's consistency stays the same for the whole tube. That is important when you use it in a customer's home. It has also shown itself effective, time and again.

I've been using this bait for about 2 weeks and I still have ants on my counters! The first day or two there were some ants that were going to the gel, but not many. Now NONE go near the gel, they just ignore it completely. I saw recent reviews that had said it didn't seem to work the way it use to and they wondered if the ingredients had changed. I figured I'd try it anyway, but now I'm wondering if they are right! :(

This is the best ever for eliminating those pesky little "sugar ants.".. Two applications and they were gone... I have tried several others, but none can compare to this stuff...

I live in central Florida and we have these little Ghost ants often in the house where there is water or in the kitchen where there is sugar. This product is amazing and thorough. I have been using it for 3 1/2 years and whenever I see a scout or many Pharoh or Ghost ants I immediately put a dot of the cantelope flavored gel on a 1" square of cardboard where I see them. It calls others from the colony and within 2-3 hours they disappear. I have used several other gels from the hardware store but they did not work as quickly or as thoroughly as this product. I definitely suggest you try it if you have the Pharoh or Ghost ants. They are the hardest to get rid of. Regular home pest control sprays will not even phase them.

I know each set of ants is particular, but mine showed no interest in the gel at all. There was also an air bubble in the tube, so it wasn't completely full. This may be normal. I used a homemade mix of honey and boric acid (Roach Pruf) that they were mad for. In a few days, no more ants in the kitchen. They have since reappeared in the bathroom, so I have set out a new batch there.

Haven't had a chance to use the product. I still have some leftover from my last order. The service was great had the product in just a couple of days.

This gel bait is great. Its order less and colorless and stays in place. Since I have applied it I haven't seen an ant since.

The first time I applied Gourmet Ant Bait Gel, the ants went crazy for it and were all gone from the interior of my home in 3 days. But they were back in 2 weeks and this time, very few ants went for newly applied bait. They did go away but came back again in less than a week. I again applied new bait. They have been avoiding it so I have a growing ant infestation and don't know what to do about it since the Gourmet Any Gel is no longer effective.

Ant populations can be quite large so it is not unusual to see more ants after having initial success. Ants can also be very picky. Sometimes they will eat sweet, liquid baits like the Gourmet and at other times they will only eat solid, protein baits like Maxforce Complete or Maxforce Ant Bait Stations (the colonies nutritional needs change frequently depending on how many immature ants are developing and on the weather) . The ant bait gel worked great. Put gel inside small pieces of cut straws along the paths the ants were using. Ants went crazy for the gel and within 3 days have not seen any ants for the last month. Great product would highly recommend.

A friend had given me a tube of the ant bait gel when I was having an ant problem a few years ago. After using a very small amount, it totally eliminated all the ants. I thought it could only be bought by licensed exterminators and I was worried when the tube was almost empty this year. I decided to look online and I found it and it was at a great price. It works and it's very easy to apply.

i put this stuff out and sure enough the ants started eating it. But after 2 weeks i still have ants all over, seems like the stuff sucks.

Ants only ate at it for 1 hour or less, then left it alone. However after placing it in 4 spots inside, and 2 outside, the ants have left the area. Not sure if its the poison bait or the weather change here - just changed over to winter here in FL. The grass has stopped growing, maybe the ants go South, not sure why they are gone but they are gone.

Order arrived quick. Used it right away along with the grandulated power they suggest along with this product. COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY ON BOTH ITEMS!! I have those little "crazy ants" and they have been eating this stuff for over a week now and they just come back for more, they LOVE eating it but it does NOT kill them. My problem is just as bad as it was before I tried this stuff. I'm at my wits end with these ants!! NOT SATISFIED AT ALL, I wasted $37.00!!
