I have an infestation of Thrips in my house and car. how can I best get rid of them?

have had infestations for last 2 years and am unable to get rid of thrips. have tried sprayes found in stores but nothings works. they seem to live in my carpets and curtains and any place where moisture is found. any answer you can provide would be a great help. thanks

Normally, thrips thrive off of plants. Has this pest been positively identified? We recommend to please contact your Cooperative Extension office and speak with the Entemologist for further assistance on pest identification in your area.
