I have a bermuda lawn that is becoming infested with bahia grass, Is AmTide MSM 60 DF the right product for me

I live in south Georgia, I have a 6 acre lawn and it is very hot right now. If AmTide is the right product, when is the right time of year to spray?

Answer:

According to label (page 57) on the AmTide MSM 60 DF Herbicide, For the selective control fo Bahiagrass in Bermudagrass turf, use .25 to .75oz of AmTide MSM 60DF Herbicide per acre. Use the higher rates of the range on Argentine, Common and Paraguayan Bahiagrass. Apply a repeat treatment in 4 to 6 weeks if necessary. Some chlorosis or stunting of the Bremudagrass may occur following the application. It is recommended to use a non-ionic surfactant of at least 80% active ingredient such as Southern AG Surfactant for Herbicides, but this may also effect the stunting of the turf. Please follow the label instructions.
