    How warm should it be when spraying Honcho Plus Herbicide?
    I know most weed killers say it should be over 80 degrees... is it the same for honcho?

    Honcho Plus Herbicide should be sprayed when the temperature is at least 50 degrees Fahrenheit so that it works properly.

    How long do you need to wait in order to plant a garden after using Honcho Plus Herbicide?
    How warm does the weather have to be to get a kill on rye?

    After using Honcho Herbicide, it is recommended that you wait at least 30 days before planting additional items. We would recommend checking the label specifically because this can change with the time frame in order to plant or harvest. We normally recommend the ground being at least 65 degrees Fahrenheit when using herbicides.

    When does Honcho Plus Herbicide go out of date?
    A

    Honcho Plus Herbicide has a three year shelf life from the date of purchase if stored away from extreme temperatures and mixed as needed. The mixed solution should be used within 24 hrs of mixing.

    After applying Honcho, how long do I wait before watering the area?
    A

    We would recommend that you wait to water (or apply when not expecting rainfall) for at least 24 hrs after application of Honcho Plus Herbicide has completely dried for the most effective results.

    Can you walk on turf after honcho plus was applied?
    Want to know if you can walk across turf after honcho has been applied to turf?

    Like with most liquid herbicides and insecticides, Honcho Plus Herbicide will not harm you if you come into the treated area after it has dried. Please be sure to follow the  product label for application.

    Can Honcho Plus Herbicide be used in a pond to control algae?

    Honcho Plus Herbicide is not labeled for pond applications or eradication of algae. We do carry products that can be applied in bodies of water and safe for aquatic organisms. Please check out our Algae Control Products.

    Will the Honcho plus kill sleeping grass?

    Honcho Plus Herbicide is non-selective (similar to RoundUp), therefore it will kill whatever it is sprayed on.

    Will Honcho Plus Herbicide hurt or kill animals such as goats?
    A

    As long as Honcho Plus Herbicide is being used as labeled it will be safe for the animals to be around. Upon applying the product allow the product to dry before reintroducing the animals to the area, and allow at least 7 days in between applying and allowing the animals to graze in the same area.

    Can Honcho Plus be safely used in a grazing area for sheep and goats?
    Would it be safe to allows goats/sheep to graze an area after a period of time?
    A

    As long as you keep animals out of the area while you treat and until the Honcho Plus Herbicide treated areas have had time to completely dry it is safe for them to return and resume normal activity when used as directed on the product label depending on the type of area you are spraying over.

    Is Honcho Plus suitable for large coverage areas or only spot treatments?
    Can you use this to kill weeds and grass in a large area or only in targeted spots?
    A

    Honcho Plus Herbicide could be used over large areas if you wanted a bareground area.  It was a non selective that kills anything sprayed but has been discontinued.
