Claudette from Kirkland, Wa writes

How do I mix Bonide Systemic Insect Control for a soil drench for roses?

I have beautiful sweet smelling roses but plague with rust and little insects on leaves.

Answer:

Bonide Systemic Insect Control is not meant to be used as a soil drench. Instead, it is a foliar-absorbed systemic insecticide.  You will mix 1-2 tbsp. per gallon of water and spray the entire plant, covering both sides of foliage thorougly.
