How do I rid my apartment from fleas that were there when I moved in?

Apartment is infestested with fleas they hop on and off my daughter and my self. We have a cat also.

You also want to treat the cat as well, using a product like Martins Prefurred Plus for cats.  Always remember vacuuming is key and should be done as often as possible.
