We recently purchased a property that had a termite problem in the past and is surrounded by Oak Trees. I plan to use Dominion around the house and shed, but the barn is exposed wood beams and old telephone poles. We will be enclosing the barn and insulating it for horses, and would like to protect the wooden beams. What should we do to keep the termites out of the rafters and support beams?
Dominion is a great choice to put up your perimeter treatment. You would want to treat the beams and rafters with Boracare. You can spray or paint the mixture on.
