How do you use Sevin Concentrate control and prevent all pests for sweet corn?

How much Sevin do you need to apply and how often? At what stage of corn do you start and finish spraying? Can you spray directly on the cob? How long after spraying is it safe to eat the corn?

Answer:

You will use 1.5 fl. oz. of Sevin Concentrate per gallon of water. This can applied up to two days before harvest. Sevin Concentrate should also only be used a maximum of eight times per year, per the product label. There is not a wait time in between spraying the product. Sevin can be sprayed whenever the insects are present.
