The plastic that makes up the Protecta Mouse Bait Station is a very heavy duty plastic, however we have had calls that larger dogs, close to 100 lbs, are able to bite over the whole station and chew it pretty badly. You should try to place the stations where a large dog could not get to them such as behind some wood or behind something large along a wall.
