Since SpeedZone Southern Herbicide is a post-emergent herbicide you can use it any time there are actively growing weeds in accordance with the product label without having it affect your pre-emergent application. You would not use if you do not have any existing weeds that you need to kill. Be sure your turfgrass is well-established and not under stress from drought or heat when using any post-emergents.
