With Herbicides and Fungicides the mixture is different in how you apply it. You will want to make sure you are using the correct about of product, over the correct amount of area. The water purely acts as the carrier to distribute it so whether it takes you 2 gallons or 10 gallons, both are correct. The Honor Guard label says to use 2 ounces per 1000 sq/ft for Red Thread so you would be safe mixing 2 ounces per 2 gallons of water as that is the average that is recommend for herbicides.
