Rosa from Rockwall, Tx writes

If it's over 90 degrees in the day, could I spray Bonide Systemic Insect Control on my roses in the cooler evenings?

I need to spray my roses for powdery mildew. I live in Texas at it is over 90 degrees in the daytime. The bonide products states not to spray when temperature is over 90 degrees. Could I spray in the evenings when the low temperatures are around 75 degrees?

Answer:

We do not recommend treating with Bonide Systemic Insect Control during the heat of the day when temperatures are above 90 degrees.  Treating when the temperature is 75 degrees will work better.
