I recently found a lot of black carpet beetles around my kids play area and wanted to know if it's safe to apply this product in the area near their toys and sofas. Does this product leave a residual on the carpet that will harm my children and puppy?
565 Plus is safe for use in a home with children and animals, as long as you follow the product label. Be sure that the children and pets are out of the area while you are applying the product, and they can return to the area as soon as it has dried. Please keep in mind that the 565 Plus XLO is a pyrethrin based insecticide. It does not leave any active residual,so any pest that is to be eliminated with this spray must be directly contacted to be killed.
