Is it best to apply Crossbow Herbicide immediately after mowing down tall vegetation, or should I wait a period of time after mowing?

I just used the brush hog to mow down the blackberry bushes and other weeds and want to made sure to apply at the right time.

It is recommended that you wait at least 2-3 days after mowing to apply Crossbow Herbicide.
