Is it safe to use Fertilome Weed Free Zone around holly bushes?

Last year I planted a privacy wall of Nellie Stevens Holly bushes and now I need to control the weeds around the them. Is this product okay to spray around these bushes? I am looking for something to use that is safer than Roundup.

The Fertilome Weed Free Zone label states not to spray around the roots of trees and ornamentals. We would recommend contacting your local Master Gardener for advice and product recommendations that are safe to use around this particular holly species.
