Is Permethrin SFR the best to use for controlling cicada killer wasps?

The wasps keep coming back every year. I have been killing them when I can with wasp spray. I treat their nest with 50/50 mix of Amonia water mix. I want something I can spray on the flagstone flower bed to either kill or discourage them from returning every year. Thank you for any help.

Answer:

Permethrin SFR is a good option for cicada killer wasps. This will be applied directly to the areas where you have seen activity. The mixing ratio is 1.45 fl. oz. per gallon of water. Be sure to apply the product later at night when the wasps are not active.
